FAM is owned by the three largest Wallenberg Foundations - Knut and Alice Wallenbergs Stiftelse, Marianne and Marcus Wallenbergs Stiftelse and Stiftelsen Marcus and Amalia Wallenbergs Minnesfond - via the owner company Wallenberg Investments AB.

The ownership focuses on a number of strategic company holdings and a number of alternative investments. By actively contributing to the holdings 'long-term development, the holdings' dividend capacity and value can increase over time. Value growth in and dividends from FAM contribute to the Foundations' value growth and ability to provide grants for world-class research and education.

With the experience and competence in FAM's organization in combination with the network around the Wallenberg family, the goal is to create returns and real growth in FAM's capital over time.
